OMGVanEyckWasHere : Portrait of a human being

Strook presents his Van Eyck-inspired work. This work is made with recycled wood from different old buildings in Ghent, so this work has many pieces from the city's history included.
The 2 panels are a clear reference to the work of Van Eyck. In the famous Ghent altar piece many characters are (or are not) communicating with eachother over multiple panels. It's up to you to decide what you see here : 2 characters looking at each other... or 1 looking in a mirror.

Part of the OMG Van Eyck Was Here project by stad Gent / Cultuur Gent.
